About

Kenneth Chan is a working photographer in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is passionate about capturing life’s important memories through dramatic portraits and breathtaking landscapes. Pursuing photography professionally is a dream come true! His expertise includes low-light photography, action shots, and photo editing. He loves teaching photography workshops and has taught multimedia classes for Stanford University, Eastern Arizona College, and the Digital Media Academy to students of all ages and backgrounds.

His photo and film works have been published by Arizona Highways Magazine, CBS News, The History Channel, The Stanford Daily, and the Globe-Miami Times. Kenneth has won photo & film awards at Thunder IndigiFest, the Arizona State Fair, and Thumbtack.com. His clients include LinkedIn, MacMillan Learning, Freeport McMoRan, Best Western, Stanford University, American Vision Partners, the City of Globe, and the San Carlos Apache Tribe.

Kenneth started his journey in photography when his dad gave him a film camera to use for high school yearbook class. It allowed him to capture the moments that others missed. In college, he was an early adopter of digital cameras and even built his own web gallery to share his images with friends and fans before the rise of Facebook and Instagram. According to Kenneth, “the technology is changing so fast, enabling us to see the world through the lens in new ways each day. I can’t wait to see what’s just around the corner! Thank you for supporting my work. I’m grateful for each day that I get to do what I love!”

Packages

I specialize in photographing family portraits, special events, professional headshots, and real estate. Whether it is a newborn photo session, birthday party, portraits with pets, or a profile photo, I love going on-location and putting you in the best light, capturing the emotions and fleeting moments of life, and telling your unique story through beautiful and dramatic images.

Portrait sessions typically include an hour of session time at a location of your choice. You get to keep all of the high-resolution edited images from the session, licensed for reprint and use online. I also build you an online proofs gallery to send to friends and family who would like to see the photos and order their own prints, etc. For clients who only need a few images from the session, smaller packages are available to better fit your needs.

Event photography is available at an hourly rate. You get to keep all of the high-resolution edited images from the photo coverage, licensed for reprint and use online. A live photo booth and onsite commemorative prints are available options to provide you and your guests with delightful souvenirs from the event.
